Wonderfully written and researched study of this period of American portraiture and the figure (1945-1975). Beautifully illustrated with lots of surprises and three insightful essays by the authors/curators. A great addition to your art library.

This is a decent quality book, but the perspective is limited. It's written for BabyBoomers.
